First men in the moon

I finished reading the H.G. Wells classic 'The first Men In The Moon' a little while ago. I never really read books 'cos i'm stupid(-fresh) but i do enjoy this bloke and jules Verne; although Verne tends to go overboard with his extremely detailed descriptions of things like scientific apparatus and that sort of thing which sometimes slows the read down.
So anyway, i thought i'd illustrate the bit where Bedford goes on a Selenite murdering spree and seems to enjoy it a bit too much.
The other highlight for me was the phrase, that went something (i can't find it now) like- "he had an expression on his face as if someone had just poured FUNK down his neck"!
By the way, it's meant to read "Ha Ha Ha Ha, This Fantastic Moon!" but blogger is starting to annoy me now with it's silly sizing system!

I was thinking more of
Funk: n. inf. a type of polyrythmic black dance music with heavy syncopation.
In my dictionary, it says your definition is sometimes called 'Blue Funk'!

Blue Funk, that would make a good comicbook name.
